Success and Failure
Demonstrate the fact that from what appears to be failure, success is built. By learning what does not work, we can learn from our mistakes and then make a successful product or idea. One example from the museum collection is the Scripps-Booth Bi-Autogo.
Designed as the most powerful two wheeled vehicle, only one was made, and that was considered undrivable. Some features which survived from this vehicle were the push button horn, mounted in the steering wheel, the disappearing arm rest, and the invisible door hinge. Scripps-Booth also went on to design and build many other successful lines of vehicles.
