This custom-bodied Packard is a fine example of the American coach builders art. The body by Brunn was mounted on two earlier chassis. The chassis of this car is non-standard for 1939, having a 134 inch wheelbase. It was not unusual for owners to have favorite bodywork mounted on a new chassis. Specifications: Super Eight, Series 1703; engine eight-cylinders in-line, water-cooled; bore 3-3/16 in., stroke 5 in.,displacement 200 cu. in., 120 hp. Accession no. 1979G12.
