The standard Model T Ford could be converted to a semi-race car through the substitution of readily available speed equipment. In this case: a Model B RAJO cylinder head, Ruckstell rear end, Bosch magneto ignition, Zenith carburetor, Laurel front-end suspension, Houk wheels, and the frame shortened 10." The engine conversion doubled the horsepower. The un-modified braking system was not equal to the increased speed. Specifications: Model T; engine four-cylinder, in-line, water-cooled; bore 3-3/4 in., stroke 4 in., displacement 176.7 cu. in., 45 hp. Accession no. 1987G67.
